V. Fear

What could this creature possibly be afraid of...?

~jackwass: The working title I used for this photoshot was 'Christabel', named after Samuel Taylor Coleridge's long unfinished poem - a kind of grown-up fairytale that builds on the dark elements, including the supernatural, of traditional fairytales. These three photos in particular remind me of the scene in the poem where the snake-like evil maiden, Geraldine, tries to get into Christabel's home.

To me these photos look like she's trying to claw her way in and is cursing someone behind her to leave her to her evil work. The last photo, I feel, is the strongest, with the focus on the gaunt hand. The red splash on the door we didn't even notice until we looked at the photos at home, but it seems to really add something.
